Joint Degrees

As part of our ongoing internationalization efforts, the Hebrew University has developed a portfolio of joint degree programs in cooperation with our partner universities worldwide. 

Students studying for a joint degree are enrolled at two institutions and divide their study time between them. The research in this track is carried out under the joint guidance of a supervisor from each institution so that the course work is evaluated according to the academic standards of both institutions. Upon graduation, students are eligible for recognition of their degree as either a joint degree from the two international institutions or as two separate degrees, according to the specific program regulations.

Thanks to the close ties between the two  institutions,  students benefit from a diverse and multicultural work and research environment. They are given the opportunity to connect with leading researchers from various institutions and gain a broad international understanding of research processes, which will have a strong impact  on their professional development and their careers in academia and beyond.

The Hebrew University currently offers seven joint degree programs with leading universities in Germany, Singapore, China, Australia, and Israel. The International Office continues expanding the offer of joint degree programs for all students.
