The University runs baby care facilities at all 4 campuses for babies between 2 and 10 months old.

The Hebrew University’s School of Education sponsors a pre-kindergarten (for ages 1-1/2-3), which serves as a model for the education of young children

 

Education is compulsory, and there is no tuition fee per se from pre-pre-Kindergarten through 10th grade (16 years). However, foreign residents are required to pay a nominal registration fee to the Municipality.

The Municipality provides the facilities and equipment, controls registration, and provides extracurricular activities in schools.
